This training is based on the Compliance Documents published by the Department of Building and Housing.
This training series has been designed to familiarise participants with the contents of the documents. This includes navigating your way around each document, the terms and definitions and clause by clause applications.

What you get
- A training booklet which guides you through the relevant NZ Building Code Clause and companion Compliance Document
- A series of activities to complete based on the document
- Answers to the activities
- When you are ready to be assessed you take an online quiz which is scored
- You then receive via email a certificate of completion with your name, the name of the quiz.
Note: these documents were previously published by the Building Industry Authority (BIA). They were previously known as the “Approved Documents”.

It is important to ensure you have the correct version of each Document
before you commence the training. You can use hard copy of PDF versions of
the document.
